The Religion News Association (RNA) will hold its 2026 conference from April 23–25, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, bringing together journalists, editors, freelancers, scholars, and media professionals who report on religion and its role in public life.
With the conference just weeks away, registration remains open through April 13. The gathering will feature panel discussions, reporting workshops, networking opportunities, and the presentation of the RNA Excellence in Religion Reporting Awards, which recognize outstanding journalism published during the previous year.
RNA’s annual conference serves as a national meeting point for reporters covering religion, politics, culture, and global affairs, offering opportunities to exchange ideas, discuss emerging challenges in the beat, and strengthen professional networks across newsrooms and independent media.
